ABOUT
The Legal Services Research Centre’s next international research conference will be held at Downing College, University of Cambridge, from 30th June to 2nd July 2010. The theme of the research conference will be ‘Research into Practice: Legal Service Delivery in a New Decade’. The conference will be the eighth conference hosted by the Centre. Building on the success of previous years, the conference is being designed to provide more of a focus on commissioning, service delivery and the practical implications of access to justice related research.
Registration for the conference is now open. For more information and details about the conference programme please visit our PARTICIPATE section.
Previous conferences, spanning more than a decade, have been held in Greenwich (Royal Naval College), Belfast (Queens University), Cambridge (Selwyn College), Oxford (Jesus College), London (Russell Hotel), London (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies) and London (London School of Economics).
The most recent conference, which took place from 18-20 June, 2008, at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich, saw 120 delegates from 20 countries attending. Delegates included around 10 legal aid chief executives, leading researchers in the access to justice field and a variety of stakeholder representatives.
